Historic Lyme Regis is only 5 miles east along the coast road, whilst picturesque is Beer a mile west and Axminster is 5 miles north for British Rail to London Waterloo.

Whilst staying in the area you will be able to explore the beautiful Axe Valley. This part of the East Devon and Dorset coast is now listed as a Natural World Heritage Site, the only one in England. You can go fossilling in Charmouth just down the coast. The sea, the harbour and the Axe Estuary, with its wonderful bird life, are only minutes away from the Studio. You can take a Tram ride along the Estuary to Colyton, and be inspired by the natural beauty of your surroundings. All in all, a delightful place to stimulate your imagination for creating stained glass!
